JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a wide variety of duties related to construction, installation and the assembly of architectural products.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand basic construction principles sufficient to:
- Use basic construction tools and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or other specifications
- Troubleshoot installation problems
- Keep job sites clean and organized
- Unload/load material from/to delivery vehicles
- Professional representation of Powers Products in the field
- Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and other staff regarding work progress
- Follows Powers Products Safety policies
REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION:
- Ability to read and understand Construction Documents, Blueprints and Installation Procedures
- Communicate effectively both verbally and most importantly in writing
- Ability to operate Tools and Equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year minimum of field construction experience
- Insurable driving record & clean MVR
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Industrial and Commercial construction sites
- Physical work including heavy lifting up to 50 pounds individually and more within a team
- Travel and periodic durations out of town
- Overtime is common
- Work performed on ladders, scaffolding and ariel lifts
- Safety equipment and PPE are to be always worn

PAY & BENEFITS:
Pay range: apprentice – journeyman $21-$31 per hour depending on experience
