Installation Team

Installer:
• Professional representation of Powers in the field
• Capable of following direction from Lead Installer & Foreman and completes assigned tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency
• Follows Powers installation procedures
• Learns to read contract drawings and follow product installation procedures.
• Unload/load material from/to trucks and trailers
• Distribute material to final location
• Daily job cleanup
• Follows Powers Safety policies

Lead Installer:
• Professional representation of Powers in the field
• Unload/load material from/to trucks and trailers
• Distribute material to final location
• Follows and trains installers & laborers on Powers Safety policies
• Assesses jobsite hazards and plans accordingly.
• Follows and trains installers & laborers on Powers products and installation procedures
• Provides direction to laborers and installers
• Takes direction from Foreman, Installation Supervisor & Project Manager
• Able to read and follow contract drawings & product installation procedures.
• Learns to deal with GC superintendent
• Learns to field measure for products
• Able to manage small projects with small crews (1-2 men) of installers and laborers.
• Learns quality control expectations and performs quality checks
• Pre-planning of install to ensure materials, equipment, tools, and jobsite readiness
• Operate required equipment.
• Documents field activities effectively.

Foreman:
• Professional representation of Powers in the field
• Unload/load material from/to trucks and trailers
• Distribute material to final location
• Trains crew on Powers Safety policies
• Assesses jobsite hazards and plans accordingly.
• Train crew on Powers products and installation procedures
• Able to field measure for products
• Takes direction from Installation Supervisor & Project Manager
• Able to read and follow contract drawings & product installation procedures.
• Deal with GC superintendent on scheduling & coordination
• Able to effectively manage projects with larger crews (3 or more) of lead installers, installers and laborers.
• Job pre-planning: tools, equipment, etc.
• Document field activities and maintains all required paperwork for the project.
• Maintain proper quality control
• Pro-active problem solving. Anticipate and addresses problems effectively and responsibly.
Working conditions for all positions:
• Industrial and commercial construction sites, outside and in partially completed structures year-round. Physical work including heavy
lifting per our safety policy. Work performed off of ladders, scaffolding and lifts. Personal Protective Equipment to be worn at all times
including work boots, hardhat, safety glasses and other items as required. Travel and periodic duration’s out of town. Overtime and/or
after hours work as necessary.
