M. Brent Powers

CEO

Brent has a lifetime of involvement with the Powers entities and represents the third generation of family management and ownership.

He came on board full-time with Powers Products Co. in 1994 and spent the next 3 years in an outside sales position, promoting architectural skylight systems and launching the introduction of the Smoke Guard elevator lobby smoke containment system in the Colorado and Wyoming marketplace.

In 1997, he briefly took over as General Manager of the architectural products division before departing to pursue his MBA. After graduate school, Brent returned to Powers Products Co., and in December of 2000, he became the President and CEO overseeing its operations in Wyoming and Colorado.

Brent attended the University of Arizona and received a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, in 1994 with a major in Accounting. He received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1999 with an emphasis on Real Estate and Finance.

Brent and his wife Andrea are busy raising the next generation of Powers leadership on the home front. He enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball and is an avid outdoorsman… with a passion for skiing, golfing, fly-fishing, and hunting. Currently, he remains actively involved with the following organizations:

TODD BRYANT

KALWALL PRODUCT MANAGER

Todd began his career in the construction industry over 20 years ago, managing projects between winter and summer breaks while in college. After attaining his degree, he continued in the industry as a Project Manager, focused on commercial building facades. In his current role as Kalwall Product Manager, he provides technical design, estimating, and pre-construction support to our clients as well as promotional outreach for Kalwall and Structures Unlimited products in the Colorado and Wyoming markets.

Todd graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Industrial Design. He enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and dogs either through exploring the mountains or skiing together.

RENE BARRERA SR.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Rene began his career in the construction industry over 30 years ago and has managed installation operations throughout this time as both a business owner and as a leader for various specialty contractors focused on building envelope construction. His experience creating and managing high performing installation teams combined with his overall experience in the commercial construction industry made Rene an ideal fit for Powers. He joined the team in 2022 as our Director of Operations, and in this role he is responsible for overseeing our Installation, Project Management, and Service teams.

Rene and his family moved to the Denver area recently and are looking forward to new adventures, vacations, and spending quality family time in the mountains.

MIGUEL MOLINAR

SUPERINTENDENT – POWERS PRODUCTS SOUTHWEST

Miguel brings over 20 years of hands-on construction experience to Powers with unrivaled knowledge of our specialized products. Starting with Powers as an Installer and quickly ranking up to Foreman, he is now our Superintendent for Powers Products Southwest. In his current role, he manages our install team and the field execution of all projects in New Mexico and West Texas.

Outside of work, Miguel owns several classic Ford pickups and he and his wife travel the United States and Mexico showing them off. If he’s not traveling – you can find him relaxing by horseback.

LEE SASSER

SALES AND DIVISION MANAGER – POWERS PRODUCTS SOUTHWEST

Lee joined the Powers team in late 2021 bringing with him over 14 years of experience in commercial architectural product sales and project management. Most recently, his focus has been on sales for Solatube and Smoke Guard. His wealth of knowledge in these product lines makes him a great addition to the team as our Sales and Division Manager for the Powers Products Southwest territory.

He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Business Management. Lee has a passion for golf and basketball, loves spending time with his family and exploring different areas in their camper.

PATRICK SENOUR

SOLATUBE PRODUCT MANAGER

Carrying on the family tradition of working at Powers Products, Patrick started with Powers in 2020 as an Installer for our Solatube and Kalwall projects. He then served as a Project Manager and in 2021 was promoted to his current role as Solatube Product Manager. In his current role, he provides estimating services and promotional outreach for Solatube products in the Colorado and Wyoming markets.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife, working on training his dog, learning guitar and hunting with his dad and brothers.

CHRIS STONE

DAYLIGHTING PRODUCT MANAGER

Chris joined Powers in 2015 as Customer Service Manager bringing with him a successful career with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. As the customer service manager, he worked closely with our clients to schedule annual inspections, ordering parts and materials, and providing long-term solutions for the fulfillment of our products. In 2019, Chris was promoted to his current role as our Daylighting Product Manager where he provides all replacement estimates for Kalwall panels, unit skylights and canopies.

Born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Chris graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics and holds both a real estate and TEFL certificate. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family & friends, golfing, attending world-wide soccer games and traveling to Argentina and Brazil.

CRAIG HILDEBRAND

PROJECT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Craig joined the Powers team in 2018 and quickly ramped up as a Sr. Project Manger, then quickly transitioning into Powers’ Install Operations Manager two years later and most recently promoted to Project Operations Manager. In this role, he manages the installation and warehouse team as well as all other resources involved in executing our projects in the field. He brings a unique technical and management background to Powers, including many years of honorable service to the US Navy combined with experience from both the software industry and other specialty contracting companies.

Away from work, you’ll find Craig spending time with his wife and two daughters or trail-running in endurance races throughout the State.

KEVIN SCHWINDT

CONTROLLER

Kevin began his career in the United States Navy Submarine Force on the USS Tecumseh. After his military service, he worked in manufacturing plants for over 35 years, as Financial Controller, International Business Unit Financial Director, and Plant/General Manager assignments. Kevin’s passion is focusing on the most important asset of any company – the people. He has a BA in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and an MBA from Colorado State University. He has been married for 38 years to his lovely wife, Patti, and have two children, Michael and Christina. Michael and his wife, Jessica, are expecting their first child – Kevin and Patti’s first grandchild – in 2021. Kevin enjoys spending time at the family farm raising cows/calves and driving all the equipment. When not at the farm, you will find him in the mountains with Patti and their dog, Max, camping and riding ATVs.

ERIC SCHEEL

SERVICE TECH MANAGER

Eric brings over 25 years of hands-on, technical service experience to Powers with unrivaled knowledge of our specialized products. He manages our owner-direct service team providing planned maintenance, on-call service, and replacement systems to our clients.

You’ll find Eric glass blowing, metalworking and taking the new kayak to the lake during his spare time.

gwyn Williams

HR / Office Manager

With more than 20 years of experience under her belt prior to joining Powers in 2020, Gwyn has worked in a variety of industries including; healthcare, staffing, and engineering.

Gwyn grew up in West Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a degree in Psychology. She enjoys traveling with her fiancé, Eric, and spending time with her four grown children.

KEITH LUNSFORD

DIRECTOR OF FIRE + SMOKE SEPARATION

Keith joined Powers in 2012 after a long history of success working with us as an installation subcontractor. He brings over 20 years of experience in specialty commercial doors to our team, and provides technical code, design, specification and pricing support to our clients for Smoke Guard, McKeon, and other specialty commercial door systems.

He is a Professional Affiliate member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) as well as the Colorado Chapter of the International Code Council. Keith enjoys spending time with his wife and son and is a computer techie… building (crashing) his own systems, podcasting, and more

MATT GRIFFIN

SUPERINTENDENT

Starting with Powers in 2000, Matt rose through the ranks as an installer to become the lead Foreman for our monumental Kalwall and skylight projects. He was promoted to the position of Superintendent in 2017, with overall responsibility for managing our Daylighting installation team.

GARY DVORAK

DIRECTOR OF DAYLIGHTING

Gary joined Powers in 2016 building on a successful career as a daylighting engineer with another skylight company in the Colorado and Wyoming market. He focuses on business development with architecture firms and owners focused on the K-12, higher ed, and sports and rec markets among others.

Gary graduated from the University of Colorado and is the proud Dad of two great kids.

BRIAN MACKEY

DIRECTOR OF SPACE FLEXIBILITY

After a 2 year stint with Powers in the late 90’s, it took Brian another 18 years to figure out this is where he belongs! He rejoined the Powers sales team in 2018 and serves as our Director of Space Flexibility, focused on delivering best-in-class service and product solutions to architects, interior designers, and general contractors to meet creative space flexibility needs utilizing Modernfold, Skyfold, and Line Systems among others.

Brian graduated from the University of Wyoming… Go Pokes. He is the proud Dad of one great teenage son, and they enjoy golfing, skiing, and cheering for all teams at UW and on the Denver sports scene.

Beth Pitkin

DIRECTOR OF marketing

Communication has always been at the core of Beth’s interests. In 1998 Beth joined a small start-up that had begun to manufacture and market elevator smoke containment systems, Smoke Guard. There Beth spent the next 25 years as Marketing Manager, cultivating that brand through digital marketing and relationship fostering.

A northern girl to the core, Beth grew up in the wilds of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with her parents, three brothers, and a menagerie of animals. She holds degree from the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) and has called Boise, Idaho home for the last 30+ years. She’s a proud mother of two young men and two fur-babies. Beth loves to ski, white water raft, camp, hike, mountain bike, and spend as much time outdoors as possible.
