M. Brent Powers

CEO

Brent has a lifetime of involvement with the Powers entities and represents the third generation of family management and ownership.

He came on board full-time with Powers Products Co. in 1994 and spent the next 3 years in an outside sales position, promoting architectural skylight systems and launching the introduction of the Smoke Guard elevator lobby smoke containment system in the Colorado and Wyoming marketplace.

In 1997, he briefly took over as General Manager of the architectural products division before departing to pursue his MBA. After graduate school, Brent returned to Powers Products Co., and in December of 2000, he became the President and CEO overseeing its operations in Wyoming and Colorado.

Brent attended the University of Arizona and received a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, in 1994 with a major in Accounting. He received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1999 with an emphasis on Real Estate and Finance.

Brent and his wife Andrea are busy raising the next generation of Powers leadership on the home front. He enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball and is an avid outdoorsman… with a passion for skiing, golfing, fly-fishing, and hunting. Currently, he remains actively involved with the following organizations:

TODD BRYANT

Daylighting Product Manager

Todd Bryant has been part of the Powers Products team since early 2022, but his experience in construction goes back much further. Growing up in a family-owned design/build business, he learned the trades from the ground up—literally. That early hands-on foundation shaped the way he approaches every project today: with an understanding of how thoughtful design and practical constructability work hand in hand.

As our Daylighting Product Manager, Todd helps architects, general contractors, and building owners make the most of natural light. He leads with a consultative mindset—offering design guidance, daylight studies, and technical support to balance aesthetics, energy performance, and occupant comfort. Whether he’s refining details for a skylight system or finding creative ways to meet a project’s budget, Todd takes pride in helping clients achieve results that are both beautiful and buildable.

When he’s not on a job site or in a design meeting, Todd can usually be found outdoors with his wife, two kids, and their dogs—hiking, skiing, or tackling the next home remodeling project. (There’s a good chance a trip to the hardware store is involved.) His passion for design doesn’t stop at work; it’s a way of life.

RENE BARRERA SR.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Rene began his career in the construction industry over 30 years ago and has managed installation operations throughout this time as both a business owner and as a leader for various specialty contractors focused on building envelope construction. His experience creating and managing high performing installation teams combined with his overall experience in the commercial construction industry made Rene an ideal fit for Powers. He joined the team in 2022 as our Director of Operations, and in this role he is responsible for overseeing our Installation, Project Management, and Service teams.

Rene and his family moved to the Denver area recently and are looking forward to new adventures, vacations, and spending quality family time in the mountains.

MIGUEL MOLINAR

SUPERINTENDENT – POWERS PRODUCTS SOUTHWEST

Miguel brings over 20 years of hands-on construction experience to Powers with unrivaled knowledge of our specialized products. Starting with Powers as an Installer and quickly ranking up to Foreman, he is now our Superintendent for Powers Products Southwest. In his current role, he manages our install team and the field execution of all projects in New Mexico and West Texas.

Outside of work, Miguel owns several classic Ford pickups and he and his wife travel the United States and Mexico showing them off. If he’s not traveling – you can find him relaxing by horseback.

LEE SASSER

SALES AND DIVISION MANAGER – POWERS PRODUCTS SOUTHWEST

As Division Manager for Powers Products Southwest, Lee Sasser heads up our sales and promotional efforts across New Mexico and West Texas, bringing broad expertise across all three of our specialty divisions—Daylighting, Fire + Smoke Separation, and Space Flexibility. Since joining Powers Products in 2021, Lee utilizes his extensive background in construction to combine technical expertise with a genuine passion for assisting architects, contractors, and building owners in realizing their design visions.

Lee enjoys being part of the design process from the very beginning, whether that means conducting daylight studies to fine-tune natural light performance, navigating complex fire and smoke code requirements, or helping teams create flexible spaces that adapt to the needs of their users. His consultative approach focuses on practical, creative solutions—balancing aesthetics, performance, and compliance so that every project runs smoothly from concept to completion.

Outside of work, Lee is a dedicated husband and father who loves spending time with his wife and two sons exploring the outdoors, camping, or playing a few rounds of golf. His drive to balance family, nature, and craft mirrors the same energy he brings to every client relationship—steady, thoughtful, and focused on creating spaces that make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

PATRICK SENOUR

SOLATUBE PRODUCT MANAGER

Carrying on the family tradition of working at Powers Products, Patrick started with Powers in 2020 as an Installer for our Solatube and Kalwall projects. He then served as a Project Manager and in 2021 was promoted to his current role as Solatube Product Manager. In his current role, he provides estimating services and promotional outreach for Solatube products in the Colorado and Wyoming markets.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife, working on training his dog, learning guitar and hunting with his dad and brothers.

CHRIS STONE

DAYLIGHTING PRODUCT MANAGER

Chris joined Powers in 2015 as Customer Service Manager bringing with him a successful career with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. As the customer service manager, he worked closely with our clients to schedule annual inspections, ordering parts and materials, and providing long-term solutions for the fulfillment of our products. In 2019, Chris was promoted to his current role as our Daylighting Product Manager where he provides all replacement estimates for Kalwall panels, unit skylights and canopies.

Born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Chris graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics and holds both a real estate and TEFL certificate. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family & friends, golfing, attending world-wide soccer games and traveling to Argentina and Brazil.

CRAIG HILDEBRAND

PROJECT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Craig joined the Powers team in 2018 and quickly ramped up as a Sr. Project Manger, then quickly transitioning into Powers’ Install Operations Manager two years later and most recently promoted to Project Operations Manager. In this role, he manages the installation and warehouse team as well as all other resources involved in executing our projects in the field. He brings a unique technical and management background to Powers, including many years of honorable service to the US Navy combined with experience from both the software industry and other specialty contracting companies.

Away from work, you’ll find Craig spending time with his wife and two daughters or trail-running in endurance races throughout the State.

KEVIN SCHWINDT

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Kevin began his career in the United States Navy Submarine Force on the USS Tecumseh. After his military service, he worked in manufacturing plants for over 35 years, as Financial Controller, International Business Unit Financial Director, and Plant/General Manager assignments. Kevin’s passion is focusing on the most important asset of any company – the people. He has a BA in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and an MBA from Colorado State University. He has been married for 38 years to his lovely wife, Patti, and have two children, Michael and Christina. Michael and his wife, Jessica, are expecting their first child – Kevin and Patti’s first grandchild – in 2021. Kevin enjoys spending time at the family farm raising cows/calves and driving all the equipment. When not at the farm, you will find him in the mountains with Patti and their dog, Max, camping and riding ATVs.

ERIC SCHEEL

SERVICE TECH MANAGER

Eric brings over 25 years of hands-on, technical service experience to Powers with unrivaled knowledge of our specialized products. He manages our owner-direct service team providing planned maintenance, on-call service, and replacement systems to our clients.

You’ll find Eric glass blowing, metalworking and taking the new kayak to the lake during his spare time.

gwyn Williams

HR / Office Manager

With more than 20 years of experience under her belt prior to joining Powers in 2020, Gwyn has worked in a variety of industries including; healthcare, staffing, and engineering.

Gwyn grew up in West Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a degree in Psychology. She enjoys traveling with her fiancé, Eric, and spending time with her four grown children.

KEITH LUNSFORD

DIRECTOR OF FIRE + SMOKE SEPARATION

With more than three decades of experience in the specialty door industry, Keith Lunsford brings unmatched expertise and dedication to his role as Director of Fire + Smoke Separation at Powers Products. Since joining the company in 2012, Keith has become a trusted resource to architects, contractors, and building owners seeking code-compliant, high-performance life safety solutions. His background spans every aspect of the door industry—from field installation to ownership—giving him a comprehensive understanding of how design intent, safety, and functionality come together.

Keith specializes in helping design teams address complex life-safety challenges early in the design process. His consultative approach often uncovers ways to simplify systems and save costs without compromising performance. One standout example: during Colorado Mesa University’s library expansion, Keith worked with the design team to integrate fire and smoke curtains around the atrium, eliminating the need for an aging smoke evacuation system and saving more than $100,000. His deep knowledge and early involvement continue to help clients streamline design and avoid rework.

An active member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), Keith stays at the forefront of evolving fire and smoke safety codes, ensuring his clients benefit from the most current knowledge and solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and son—often tinkering in the garage or tackling projects around the house. His curiosity and hands-on nature reflect the same problem-solving mindset he brings to every Powers project.

MATT GRIFFIN

SUPERINTENDENT

Starting with Powers in 2000, Matt has risen through the ranks as an installer to become the lead Foreman for our monumental Kalwall and skylight projects. He was promoted to the position of Superintendent in 2017, with overall responsibility for managing our Daylighting installation team.

GARY DVORAK

DIRECTOR OF DAYLIGHTING & Strategic Partnerships

Since joining the team in 2016, Gary Dvorak has brought a rare blend of architectural engineering expertise, design intuition, and consultative leadership to Powers Products. With a career rooted in architecture, lighting design, software development, and daylighting analysis, Gary has spent his professional life exploring the intersection of art and science—an approach that continues to shape the way he supports architects, contractors, and building owners throughout the region. His deep foundation in daylighting began at the University of Colorado, where he studied architectural engineering with a focus on lighting and daylight design.

At Powers Products, Gary leads our engagement with the architecture community through the Knowledge is Powers AIA continuing education series and serves as a key resource during early-stage daylighting design discussions. His expertise in conducting daylight studies allows design teams to evaluate daylight performance, balance aesthetics with energy efficiency, and create spaces that elevate the human experience. As head of strategic partnerships, Gary also plays a critical role in aligning Powers Products with forward-thinking manufacturers and collaborators—ensuring that clients benefit from the most innovative daylighting solutions available, including Kalwall and Solatube.

Outside the office, Gary finds joy in adventuring with his wife and spending time with their four adult children. Whether immersed in the mountains or exploring a new trail, he brings the same curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for light that defines his professional work. His passion for thoughtful design—and for the people who use the spaces he helps shape—continues to make him an invaluable part of the Powers Products leadership team.

BRIAN MACKEY

DIRECTOR OF SPACE FLEXIBILITY

As Director of Space Flexibility, Brian Mackey leads our efforts to help architects, contractors, and owners reimagine what’s possible within the built environment. With eight years at Powers Products and a genuine curiosity about how people use space, Brian has developed a reputation for delivering thoughtful, flexible, and functional design solutions that adapt to the needs of every project.

Brian specializes in helping clients explore the many ways to divide or open a space—whether through operable partitions, glass wall systems, or fully retractable Skyfold walls. His consultative approach centers on understanding how each space will be used, then tailoring acoustical and aesthetic solutions to match. From early design collaboration to final installation, he takes pride in creating spaces that not only look great but work beautifully for years to come. One of his favorite projects, the Sherman & Howard office, showcases the best of that philosophy—with Modernfold Acousti-Clear glass walls, solid partitions, and Skyfold systems offering the client unlimited flexibility.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys golf, time outdoors, and moments with his son when he’s home. Whether on the course or in the field, Brian brings the same mix of focus, creativity, and collaboration that defines his work at Powers Products.

Beth Pitkin

DIRECTOR OF marketing

As Director of Marketing for Powers since 2023, Beth Pitkin brings the Powers Products story to life—one campaign, event, video, and perfectly timed pun at a time. With a passion for relationship-focused marketing and a knack for finding the heart in every project, Beth helps connect architects, contractors, and owners to the expertise and people that make Powers Products truly unique. She leads brand strategy and creative direction across all divisions, shaping everything from AIA-CES outreach and digital content to trade show experiences, project features, and the occasional company-wide laugh.

Beth thrives where strategy meets storytelling. She works side-by-side with leadership, product specialists, and partners to spotlight the value of early design collaboration, celebrate the craft behind the work, and ensure the Powers Products brand feels as human, thoughtful, and forward-thinking as the team itself. Whether she’s developing a new webpage, crafting an email that people actually want to open, or dreaming up the next great giveaway (bamboo lunch kits, anyone?), Beth brings curiosity, intention, and a whole lot of creative energy to everything she touches.

Outside the office, Beth’s happy place is outdoors—traveling, hiking, skiing, rafting, or adventuring with her partner Herb, her two adult sons, and the family dogs. A lover of great design, good stories, and beautiful places, she brings the same sense of joy and wonder to life that she brings to her work at Powers Products.
