Aims Community College Welcome Center – McKeon
Completed in December 2021, the three-story Welcome Center covers an area of 106,000 square feet and serves multiple functions. Designed by the architectural firm Hord Coplan Macht, the facility features a striking three-story monumental staircase that leads to the auditorium. This space opens into an atrium and requires a fire-rated separation. The solution implemented includes the McKeon Auto-Set FSFD-M-G overhead galvanized steel coiling door and the side-acting Safescape S 7700-G, which also has an egress door for added safety.
